Introduction:
This is a short animated film I made during my theater stage design studies as an Erasmus student in the Academy of Performing Arts Prague (DAMU).
In "GOLEM" I wanted to try out using for a stop motion animation natural materials from garden, such as soil, branches and clay, mixed with under-the-camera charcoal animation.

The sound of the film was made in collaboration with the Finnish artist Jere Suontausta.

Synopsis:
The Artist gets stuck in the endless bog while searching for an artwork. In the very last moment he sells his soul to his masterpiece that he finally finds - Golem. The only thing that will live after artist´s biological existence is Golem... Golem, the incarnation of artist´s soul, will serve his master´s wealth and legend forever.
