Main focus of this project was to provide an overview of the domains of Estonian intangible cultural heritage domains and explain how to find them in the inventory of Estonian Intangible Cultural Heritage, managed by the Estonian Cultural Folk Centre. These explanatory videos, produced in both Estonian and English, combined animation illustrating different domains with documented footage of Estonian cultural heritage.

The target audience for this project includes people interested in the topic, schools, communities, the general public and UNESCO World Heritage sites. The main goal of the videos is to encourage more Estonian communities to contribute to the inventory and help keep living heritage alive.

In this project, my main role was to develop the visual style of the graphics and animations and ultimately deliver high-quality animated footage for the editor and sound designer to use in the explanatory videos. The animation production pipeline was as follows: concept art, storyboard, layouts, animatic, graphics, animation, and rendering of the final high-quality animation in two languages. The project took approximately 3.5 months to complete, from beginning to end. Both videos were 10-11 minutes long.
